About File Format

About File Formats for Digital Assets

When you purchase digital assets from Handsign.Studio, they come in various file formats, ensuring compatibility across multiple design software. Our digital products, including text effects, bundle textures, brush digital files, and scalable vector graphics, are delivered via a secure Google Drive link for quick and easy access.

Understanding File Formats and Their Uses

To help you work efficiently, here’s a guide on accessing and using different file formats included in our digital product design packages:

  • ZIP or 7Z Files: These compressed file formats (.zip, .7z) contain your digital assets. Use 7ZIP or WINRAR to extract them and access your files.

  • GRD Files: A .grd file is an Adobe Photoshop gradient. Install it by double-clicking while Photoshop is open or using the "Import" function in the Gradient Editor.

  • PNG Files: Transparent .png files can be easily dragged and dropped into most graphic design software or added via File > Place.

  • PSD Files: Photoshop Document files (.psd) work best in Adobe Photoshop CC, though some layers may be accessible in other Adobe software.

  • ASL Files: Adobe Photoshop Style files (.asl) can be added via Edit > Presets > Preset Manager or by dragging them into Photoshop.

  • SVG Files: Scalable Vector Graphics files (.svg) are editable in Adobe Illustrator and compatible with print-on-demand graphics tools.

  • AI Files: Adobe Illustrator files (.ai) are fully editable in Illustrator and some other editable design software.

  • JPEG Files: .jpg or .jpeg images are widely supported across all design platforms.

  • TMP Files: If you see a .tmp file, it likely indicates an incomplete download. Ensure your file is fully downloaded.

  • OTF Files: OpenType fonts (.otf) install easily by double-clicking. Restart your software if the font doesn’t appear immediately.

  • ATN Files: Adobe Photoshop action files (.atn) can be installed by double-clicking them while a .psd file is open.
