Image-Based Instructions:
Step 1: Open Your Image in Photoshop
Start by launching Adobe Photoshop and opening the image you'd like to apply the Embroidery Filter to. This feature works seamlessly with Editable Designs and Customizable Designs, offering flexibility for various creative needs.
Step 2: Convert the Image to a Smart Object
To make your design editable later, convert your image layer into a Smart Object:
- Right-click the image layer in the Layers panel.
- Select "Convert to Smart Object."
This step is crucial for maintaining your Design Mockups or Digital Assets in a non-destructive format.
Step 3: Apply the Embroidery Filter
- Go to the Filter menu on the toolbar.
- Select "Parametric Filter" and activate the Embroidery option.

The Custom Embroidery Filter window will appear.
Customize the following parameters:

After customization, click "OK" to apply the Embroidery Filter to the image.
You can preview the result and go back to edit if needed.
Further Edits (if necessary):
Since the layer has been converted into a Smart Object, you can double-click the Embroidery Filter icon in the Layers panel to reopen the customization window and adjust the settings.
Note: The Embroidery Filter is a new feature and may require an updated version of Photoshop. If you encounter any issues, ensure that your software is updated to the latest version.
