Why Adjust Perspective?
Perspective in images may not always reflect reality due to distortion from distance and angle. This feature helps correct the image to align more closely with a real-world viewpoint.
Requirements: Enable Graphics Processor (GPU)
Make sure your computer has at least 512MB of VRAM.
Go to Edit > Preferences > Performance, enable Use Graphics Processor, and select Use Graphics Processor To Accelerate Computation.
How to Adjust Perspective
- Identify the plane
Open the image in Photoshop.
Go to Edit > Perspective Warp.
Draw rectangles (quads) along the planes in the image, ensuring the edges are parallel to architectural lines.
2. Adjust Perspective
Switch to Warp mode.
Drag the corners of the quads to adjust the perspective. For example, adjust so that the building's side edges converge similarly.
Shift + click to keep the edges straight.
3. Auto Options
- Automatically level near horizontal lines: Straighten near-horizontal lines automatically.
- Automatically straighten near vertical lines: Straighten near-vertical lines automatically.
- Automatically straighten both vertically and horizontally: Align both vertically and horizontally.
4. Save Changes
Press Enter or click the ✅ icon to finish.
Useful Shortcuts
- Arrow keys: Gently move quads’ corners.
- H: Hide grid in Warp mode.
- L: Switch to Layout mode.
- W: Switch to Warp mode.
- Shift + drag edge: Maintain proportion when stretching the plane.
